Marine Boy, a favorite fish-shaped snack brand in Vietnam by Orion Group, has delighted children for years. With the theme of "Intelligence," it sparks imagination through stories of superhero fish biscuits, the Marine Heroes, engaging kids in underwater adventures and activities.
More than just a treat, Marine Boy promotes marine conservation and educates children about sea creatures, fostering both environmental awareness and curiosity.

CHALLENGES
In Marine Boy's Tet 2024 campaign, alongside new character and packaging designs, Monstio is responsible for creating the visuals for an exciting board game, featuring engaging rules and impressive design.
This board game presents an exciting challenge: it comprises four distinct maps—desert, ocean, ice, and sky—that must come together to form a unified, harmonious world. Each map needs to showcase its unique environment with custom backgrounds and elements while maintaining a cohesive connection with the other maps.





SOLUTION
To conquer this challenge, Monstio has designed a vibrant 2D board game for Marine Boy. The design highlights festive Tet elements and features familiar characters from the outside of the box, adding a cohesive touch to the experience.
The game includes four distinct maps—Ocean, Desert, Ice, and Sky—each with a fish at the starting point and a dragon at the destination, aligning with the theme of each map. This approach successfully creates a larger, interconnected map that blends these diverse terrains into a seamless experience, reflecting the unity and balance of heaven and earth.
